Our client are looking for a qualified MOT Tester to join their growing team at their site near Banbury

Responsibilities;

  • This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern.
  • You will be a valued core member of the body shop team carrying out the daily MOT Testing of all vehicles.
  • This is a great opportunity for an experienced MOT tester looking for their next career move or a newly qualified MOT tester looking for their first role within the motor trade!

Key skills & experience required;

  • Must have full driving licence
  • Must have a certificate in MOT Testing
  • Experience is desirable but not essential
  • Good attention to detail

Vehicle Technician

The Role;

Our client are looking for a level 3 Vehicle technician to join their team due to continued growth

Responsibilities;

  • Carrying out maintenance and repairs on used vehicles
  • Using latest diagnostic equipment to fault find on required vehicles
  • Experience in carrying out diagnostic and service repairs

  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive e.g. City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 / IMI

HGV Technician

Our client;

We are proud to be working alongside a well know organisation who due to expansion are looking to add a HGV Mechanic to their highly successful engineering team in Didcot.

The role;

  • The inspection, diagnosis, maintenance and repair of all company vehicles including vans and lorries
  • Work effectively unsupervised and often with only an outline brief, using specialist or practical skills to complete a timely solution
  • Receive, handle safely, store or deploy materials appropriate to the task being undertaken
  • Diagnose vehicle faults, using diagnostic equipment
  • Undertake mechanical, electrical and some minor body repair. 6. Road test Company vehicles (licence permitting)
  • Supply own hand tools and take responsibility for specialist tools, materials etc that are used and observe a duty of care for all other items within the department

Skills & experience required;

  • City and Guilds, Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
  • Knowledge and previous experience of vehicle bodywork repairs and maintenance procedures, ideally on HGV, PCV or Buses
  • Awareness and understanding of risk assessment, Health and Safety practices and Department of Transport standards
  • Knowledge of manual handling regulations
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of relevant packages
  • Analysing and fault finding
  • Bus body work
  • Basic vehicle electrics
  • Relevant knowledge of all types of vehicle operated by the Company

Hours;

Hours – Average 50 hours per week worked on a rota basis, which could include weekends and public holidays

Holiday – 20 days holiday + Bank holidays

Trainee Technician

Position; TRAINEE TECHNICIAN

Location; Bristol

Salary; £23,000 – £24,000 per annum with long term progression

  • Drive the company vehicle to and from site visits ensuring the vehicle is kept clean and today at all times.
  • Excellent customer service skills ensuring every customer is given the same service.
  • Ensuring a polite and courteous manner is given to every customer.

About you;

You will be dealing with customers face to face and over the telephone and responding to urgent enquiries.

Required;

  • Excellent face to face customer service skills
  • Full Driving licence with no more than 3 points
  • Positive and self motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work from your own initiative but also as part of a team when required

Mechanical Design Engineer

The Company;

Our client is a leading special purpose engineering cutting tool manufacturer specializing in the design and manufacture of quality broach cutting tools for the Aerospace and Automotive sectors.

Responsiblities;

  • Producing design Layouts for quotation purposes
  • Produce the technical design and specification of the broach tool to meet customer’s enquiry.
  • Produce 2D and 3D CAD production drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
  • Help support the Technical Department with root cause analysis of technical issues and provide general design support.
  • Support the production department with Technical queries.

Requirements;

  • Experience within a design engineering role
  • Experience using 2D and 3D CAD software (Ideally Autodesk inventor)
  • Minimum of a HNC qualification
  • Ideally have experience in a Precision Engineering environment

This role is paying between £28,000 and £43,000 DOE

Vehicle Technician

Our client requires a number of Vehicle Technicians to work on their site carrying out diagnostic and re-work of motor vehicles.

Wokring hours will be from 7am until 3:30pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available at the weekends.

Applicants must be qualified to Level 2 or 3 (NVQ or City and Guilds or IMI Qualification) in Vehicle Repair.

The role;

Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated mechanical and/or electrical engineer to handle the operation, maintenance, repair and service of plant machinery for the construction industry

Responsiblities;

  • Undertaking maintenance, service and repair of plant machinery e.g. dumpers, telehandlers, excavators etc
