Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)

Our Client;

We are proud to be working alongside a global leader within cold chain solutions who specialise in delivering pharmaceutical products safely using their bespoke packaging solutions, who due to massive growth are looking to appoint a night shift Maintenance Engineer to their growing Engineering/Manufacturing team.

The Role;

  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and general Best Practice to ensuring safe work activities are carried out at all times including Risk Assessments.
  • Promptly attend and resolve breakdowns during assigned shift, returning equipment quickly to a useable/serviceable level to meet production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager to setup preventative and routine maintenance plans and other documentation for all equipment, buildings and facilities.
  • Conduct all assigned preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment meets operating specification or requirements.
  • Confirm and sustain equipment and process capability
  • Setup training courses and train production staff to perform first line maintenance activities.
  • Mentor production staff in the performance of first line maintenance activities, periodically review staff, highlight deficiencies and retrain.
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement of equipment and facilities, reducing downtime, setup time and cost.
  • Assist management in the introduction and commissioning of new equipment including movement, positioning and the supply of services.

Skills & Experience Required;

  • Has ten years’ experience in a similar role maintaining equipment in a high-volume, high pressure production environment
  • B-Tec HNC, HND level in an electrical and mechanical engineering subject.
  • 18 th edition wiring regulations
  • Working knowledge of PLC controllers including programming
  • Can read and understand electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Working knowledge of electrical single or 3 phase system.
  • Can fault find on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

Plant Service Engineer

The role;

Our Client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated mechanical and/or electrical engineer to handle the operation, maintenance, repair and service of plant machinery for the construction industry

Responsiblities;

  • Undertaking maintenance, service and repair of plant machinery e.g. dumpers, telehandlers, excavators etc
  • Provide knowledge and support in the event of plant failure
  • Diagnosis of plant/equipment defects
  • To maintain records for health & safety and customer service purposes
  • Visit sites to repair plant/equipment defects

Tele Sales Representative

A telemarketing role that will reach out to new and some existing customers/clients over the telephone with the primary aim to introduce our client and set up a sales visit by one of the company’s Sales team. Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Client:

Our client are a highly experienced manufacturer who boast over 50 years experience in the design, manufacture, test, install, commissioning and maintenance of high-voltage sub-station protection and control equipment.

Job Summary:

The Lead Design Engineer is responsible for the technical management of customer orders within a project team. The ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders is essential. In addition, co-ordination of engineering resources to ensure completion of the most economical technical solution in a timely manner is crucial.

Role:

  • Technical management of projects in line with client expectations, procedures and programmed timescales.
  • Overall responsibility for all technical matters for each project within the project team.
  • Communication of technical information to all internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Participating in the tender to project team handover meetings, where appropriate.
  • Participating in both internal and external meetings, such as project kick-off’s and project reviews.
  • Project lead from a technical viewpoint, for individual team projects. Including the monitoring and direction of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and other engineering resource for those specific contracts.
  • Conduct site surveys (where appropriate) at Customer sites respecting all relevant Health and Safety rules.
  • Help in maintaining or improving the project budget by use of “standard” parts and designs to minimise material and labour cost.
  • Lead the “design review” team meeting on all new projects to identify previous similar projects to work from, identify missing information from the customer and collect technical queries from the team.
    • Work within any procedures, guidelines or specifications set by the customer, any relevant electricity supply industry, and / or any relevant International organisation / standards to produce and issue any drawings deemed necessary to allow review by the client and subsequent comment / approval of the required system design.

Fire Alarm Engineer

MET Technician

The Role;
