MIG Welder

Main responsibilities;

  • Carry out skilled MIG welding work
  • Inspection, Checking / testing and fault finding
  • Using grinders to smooth surfaces before and after welding
  • Identify hazards, defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with applicable codes
  • Maintain accurate records/documentation in line with company procedures
  • Assemble components using appropriate hand/small power tools.
  • Ensuring a full understanding of tasks required and jobs to be completed.
  • Effectively operate welding units and equipment to fabricate, repair, maintain and install metal items
  • Maintain a clean working environment

About you;

  • Previous Welding and Fabrication experience
  • Ability to read drawings
  • Full driving licence

SHIFT;

Nightshift (Monday to Thursday 5pm to 3.30am)

Electrical Design Engineer

The Company;

Our client is an exciting, fast -growing Manufacturer of bespoke machinery based in Chalgrove, who due to rapid growth are now seeking an Mechanical Design Engineer to join to their team.

The role;

As an Controls Automation Engineer you will be a self-motivated and innovative Controls Engineer with a keen eye for quality and someone who takes pride in their work.

Main responsibilities;

  • Responsible for design, programming and testing a range of filling and capping machines.
  • S.E.E. Or Autocad electrical Software
  • Designing Schematics from scratch
  • Producing BOMs
  • Programming Schnieder – SO Machine

About you;

If you are an experienced Electrical Design Engineer and have experience in a similar role within a production facility you should have the following requirements;

Required;

Duties/Experience

  • Must have experience in taking projects from inception all the way through to final on-site commissioning
  • Ability to work as part of a team, working closely with Technical Director and the design team.

  • Must have experience in packaging industry
  • Mechanical experience in machine builds ideally
    • Setting up machines to product
    • Testing
    • On-site final Commissioning
  • Servo/Stepper Integration
  • Development of Functional Design Specifications
  • Provide Customer Training

Wiring Technician

The Company;

Our client specialises in design, manufacture, and installation of high value systems who due to rapid growth are now seeking to employ an Wiring Technician.

The role;

As an Wiring Technician you will mainly be expected to wire, test and inspect products and sub-assemblies to agreed quality, time-scale and cost objectives.

Main responsibilities;

  • Assemble, wire and test control cabinets, racks and test equipment in accordance with the Quality Manual, technical specifications, drawings and work instructions.
  • In air wiring of assembled product
  • Manufacture or modify, as required, jigs, fixtures and test equipment in accordance with drawings and instruction.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and tidily and in accordance with Health and Safety policies and procedures, including local risk assessments.
  • Check own work and report any quality issues.

Required;

  • Experience working an engineering environment.
  • Experience with soldering and cabinet wiring.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, functional specifications, work instructions, etc.
  • Experience in fault-finding and diagnostics.
  • Experience of working within an ISO9001 discipline

Production Operative

Our client is looking for 3 temporary to permanent Production Operatives to join their team based in Thame.

Working within the Production team you will be required to ensure work as a team to ensure shift targets are met on a daily basis

Various shifts are available including 6am – 2pm, 2pm – 10pm, and 10pm until 6am, and normal dayshifts.

Main responsibilities;

  • Help to collate customer orders, ready for shipping
  • Conducting daily check and any ad-hoc tasks as required.
  • Checking raw material quality issued for processing
  • Ensuring the warehouse is kept clean at all times adhering to company health and safety policies
  • Ensure products are correctly packed to target in line with company and customer expectations.
  • Label, Weigh & Pack products as required/trained.
  • Correctly pack finished goods safely, to specification standards and in the correct orientation.

About you;

  • No experience is necessary as full training will be given
  • Attention to detail as well as being able to work in a fast paced environment
  • ‘Can do’ attitude and proactive approach
  • Good team worker
