Our client is looking for and enthusiastic and motivated ICT Consultant who has a real flair for technology mixed with a passion for providing exemplary service to our customers to join our expanding team.

The successful candidate will ideally be centrally based as they will be supporting schools in the Hackney, Westminster, Croydon, and Greenwich areas maintaining all IT hardware and services across the school sites as well as helping the schools improve the standard of their ICT provisions and enable them to deliver effective teaching and learning through ICT solutions.

You will facilitate communication between your school and client keeping them up to date with what services the client can offer and manage the accounts of your customers. You will be skilled in maintaining school computer equipment, installing new and existing software across the network, provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems. You will also have good knowledge of common user applications and good experience of using Microsoft Office365.

The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 2 years’ experience in working in a previous ICT Technician preferably in the education sector although not essential. You will be passionate about IT with a strong technical background, be self-motivated and enjoy providing excellent customer service. This role requires you to be a team player, have strong communication and organisation skills along with a courteous manner with the ability to explain technical issues in layman’s terms to our customers.

You should be able to work independently and have an aptitude for problem solving and a proactive approach to identifying ways to improve services provided by your team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Resolve and manage any technical issues that impacts the running of the school’s function by providing robust technical solutions
  • Installation or repair of computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing, and solving problems that develop in their operations.
  • Respond to a wide range of technical duties associated with the computer network and desktop services, primarily in connection with existing installations and upgrading of these installations. (Desktop computers, iPads, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, pa equipment, AV lecterns and hardware)

The role is offered on a full-time, full year basis and successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced DBS and safeguarding checks.

In return, we are offering a salary of between £25,000 – £28,000 negotiable for the right person, along with a TFL annual travel card for zones 1-6. Purpose

The role of the Finance Systems Delivery Lead is to provide key business / financial team partners with a single IT service delivery point of contact and to oversee the direction and guidance of the Finance Systems BAU and Project technical resources.

Reporting to the Global Head of Applications, the role will play a key part in the technical roadmap for IT Finance systems. The role requires a balance of leadership and technical oversight, to ensure service delivery that meets the business needs.

Working closely with the Finance teams, the role will provide guidance on all future system changes and will oversee the adequacy & quality of the service delivery. This is a global role, supporting the Clients group of Companies and schools throughout the world.

Key Accountabilities

  • Understanding the business domain and help implementing new functionalities of Finance solutions like Fixed Assets, Procurement Processes, Multi-book Accounting, Dunning, Credit Card Processing, Bank Reconciliations, etc.
  • Provide guidance and steering to the technical IT Finance resources in both BAU and Project teams
  • Oversee administration and monitoring of the NetSuite, Adaptive and other Finance systems
  • Building and maintaining a roadmap of Finance projects that integrates into the broader IT Strategy and aligns with Finance and key product and process owners.
  • Engage in Release Preview business process testing for ongoing financial systems delivery
  • Plan the delivery of system upgrades with minimal system & business disruption
  • Identify potential areas in need of process and performance improvements
  • Create, plan, and align implement improvements to Finance Systems in line with business requirements.
  • Oversee the finance systems IT change management and continual service improvement processes
  • Be the go-to business contact and Lead for Financial Systems problem escalation and resolution

This role is a key senior role and will be responsible for the company’s applications including their global corporate systems, digital web presence, and the wealth of innovative digital learning applications.

Person Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in technology related discipline or equivalent work experience.

  • Experience with Dynamics and other CRM SaaS enterprise applications highly desired
  • Strong business acumen around CRM, Marketing and Sales processes, segregation of duties, and internal controls.
  • Experience solving multiple and complex operational and accounting challenges within and across the Marketing and Sales function and in as much as it integrates with other up- and down-stream departments’ functions and systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant IT or CRM systems development/support

You will be confident and competent in maintaining school computer equipment, install new and existing software across the network, provide technical support for users and resolve identified technical problems.
