Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)

Our Client;

We are proud to be working alongside a global leader within cold chain solutions who specialise in delivering pharmaceutical products safely using their bespoke packaging solutions, who due to massive growth are looking to appoint a night shift Maintenance Engineer to their growing Engineering/Manufacturing team.

The Role;

  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and general Best Practice to ensuring safe work activities are carried out at all times including Risk Assessments.
  • Promptly attend and resolve breakdowns during assigned shift, returning equipment quickly to a useable/serviceable level to meet production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager to setup preventative and routine maintenance plans and other documentation for all equipment, buildings and facilities.
  • Conduct all assigned preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment meets operating specification or requirements.
  • Confirm and sustain equipment and process capability
  • Setup training courses and train production staff to perform first line maintenance activities.
  • Mentor production staff in the performance of first line maintenance activities, periodically review staff, highlight deficiencies and retrain.
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement of equipment and facilities, reducing downtime, setup time and cost.
  • Assist management in the introduction and commissioning of new equipment including movement, positioning and the supply of services.

Skills & Experience Required;

  • Has ten years’ experience in a similar role maintaining equipment in a high-volume, high pressure production environment
  • B-Tec HNC, HND level in an electrical and mechanical engineering subject.
  • 18 th edition wiring regulations
  • Working knowledge of PLC controllers including programming
  • Can read and understand electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Working knowledge of electrical single or 3 phase system.
  • Can fault find on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

Our client, a unique and growing business, are looking for a number of assembly operatives to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis assisting with their daily production functions. Carrying our general production duties for a wide range of products.

Our client has a mixture of shifts available from day shifts suh as 6:30am – 3pm Monday to Thursday with an early finish on a friday around midday or a late shift which is Monday to Thursday 2:30pm – 11pm, Friday hours are 11am – 4pm.

Responsibilities;

  • Perform tasks around company products according to established specifications and instructions.
  • Perform tasks and orders following Production Plan given by Production Planner.
  • Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following instructions, report any problems or substandard condition to the Team Leader/Supervisor.
  • Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
  • Ensure all items are QC checked before processing to minimise faulty or incorrect parts being used for production.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Communicate with both managers and Directors about any issues that may arise.
  • Ensure work area is always kept clean and tidy.

Essential experience;

  • Can carry out tasks unsupervised.
  • Full training will be given with all products and procedures
  • Knows when to escalate issues and problems.
  • Can clearly communicate both written and verbally what is required.
  • Good attention to detail and good manual dexterity.

Warehouse Picker / Packer

Position; PICKER / PACKER
Location; Thame, Oxfordshire
Salary; £11.42 – £13.00ph

We are looking for 3 Pickers / Packers to join our clients team based in Thame.

Shift is 8:30am/9am – 4:30pm/5pm Monday to Friday. It is a set shift and not rotational.

The Role;
  • You will be required to pick orders in an accurate and time efficient manner.

  • Have a good attention to detail, ensuring items and work is completed with minimal errors.

  • Packing of picked items ready for despatch and ensuring labels are printed and addressed to the correct items.
  • You must adhere to all aspects of health and safety and company guidelines.

About You;

You will need to have a good understanding of written and spoken English and be able to work with computers.

Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Thame, Oxfordshire.
Previous Warehouse knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

The role;

You will be required to work within the Warehouse Administration team to assist the Operations manager with all administrative duties including client orders and courier companies.

Hours of work are from 9am until 5pm, Monday to Friday.
