We are looking for 4 Pickers / Packers to join our clients team based in Thame.

Shift is 9am until 4.30/5pm but the company can be flexible and will consider school hours.

The Role;
  • You will be required to pick orders in an accurate and time efficient manner.

  • Have a good attention to detail, ensuring items and work is completed with minimal errors.

  • Packing of picked items ready for despatch and ensuring labels are printed and addressed to the correct items.
  • You must adhere to all aspects of health and safety and company guidelines.

About You;

You will need to have a good understanding of written and spoken English and be able to work with computers.

Successful applicants should be within a commutable distance of Thame, Oxfordshire.
Previous Warehouse knowledge would be advantageous but is not essential.

Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift)

Our Client;

We are proud to be working alongside a global leader within cold chain solutions who specialise in delivering pharmaceutical products safely using their bespoke packaging solutions, who due to massive growth are looking to appoint a night shift Maintenance Engineer to their growing Engineering/Manufacturing team.

The Role;

  • Adhere to all company Health and Safety policies and general Best Practice to ensuring safe work activities are carried out at all times including Risk Assessments.
  • Promptly attend and resolve breakdowns during assigned shift, returning equipment quickly to a useable/serviceable level to meet production, quality, cost and delivery targets.
  • Work with the Facilities Manager to setup preventative and routine maintenance plans and other documentation for all equipment, buildings and facilities.
  • Conduct all assigned preventive and routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment meets operating specification or requirements.
  • Confirm and sustain equipment and process capability
  • Setup training courses and train production staff to perform first line maintenance activities.
  • Mentor production staff in the performance of first line maintenance activities, periodically review staff, highlight deficiencies and retrain.
  • Identify opportunities for the improvement of equipment and facilities, reducing downtime, setup time and cost.
  • Assist management in the introduction and commissioning of new equipment including movement, positioning and the supply of services.

Skills & Experience Required;

  • Has ten years’ experience in a similar role maintaining equipment in a high-volume, high pressure production environment
  • B-Tec HNC, HND level in an electrical and mechanical engineering subject.
  • 18 th edition wiring regulations
  • Working knowledge of PLC controllers including programming
  • Can read and understand electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings and schematics.
  • Working knowledge of electrical single or 3 phase system.
  • Can fault find on electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.

We have a range of shifts across earlies, lates and nights ranging from 6am-2pm (earlies), 2pm-10pm (lates), 10pm – 6am (nights).

We are looking for Material Handlers for our well-established client based on the outskirts of Thame.

Main responsibilities;

  • Count stock accurately and quickly
  • Use the ERP system to update stock counts
  • Replenish stock from warehouse and production lines
  • Do Stock transfers on the ERP system
  • Receive delivered goods and book them in on the ERP system
  • Remove packing materials from the line.
  • Set up stock locations both physical and on the ERP system

We require a Forklift truck Driver to join our clients team based in Thame, Oxfordshire. You will be required to load and unload lorries and containers to ensure the safe transit of the company goods.

Hours of work are from 7am until 3.30pm, Monday to Thursday and 7am until 12.30pm on Fridays.

Main responsibilities;

  • Using Forklift Trucks to load and unload lorries
  • Using Forklift trucks to put stock away into correct locations
  • Using hand held scanners for the picking of items.
  • Picking of items for the engineering team
  • Breaking down of palletised goods
  • Stock replenishment
  • General housekeeping, ensuring the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times
  • Stock taking and any other general warehouse duties

About you;

Applicants must hold a current Reach and Counterbalance Forklift licence with at least a years experience.

Knowledge of using in-house warehouse computer systems and hand held scanners would be advantageous.

Some lifting will be required some a degree of physical fitness is required.

Basic Numeracy and Literacy skills are required.

The role;

As a CAD Technician you will mainly be responsible for:

  • Prepare and generate 3D models from a technical drawing or physical part.
  • When required perform modifications to 3D parts and assemblies.
  • Build 3D assemblies from technical drawings.
  • Create and understand sheet metal parts.
  • Prepare and generate 2D technical drawing from 3D models.
  • When required perform modification to 2D technical drawings.
  • Generate general assembly drawings from 3D assemblies.
  • Create manufacturing and client instruction documents.
  • Be able to carry out instruction and complete work using Photoshop, Illustrator, Keyshot animation and rendering.
  • When required be able to create prototype and modelling.
  • To ensure that the company’s Health, Safety and Fire regulations are adhered to at all times reporting any issues immediately to the departments health and safety committee member or line manager.
  • To take part in all identified training to ensure skills are in line with the job role and any future changes.
