Position; Customer Service Manager

Location; Didcot, Oxfordshire (Moving to Witney January 2022)

Salary; £25,000 – £35,000 per annum

Planet Recruitment have recently registered an exciting new permanent opportunity for a Customer Service Manager on a permanent basis in the Didcot area but moving to Witney in January 2022. The successful candidate will have experience of customer service managment, coaching and training staff along with meeting customer and company KPIs.

Responsibilities;

  • Team management, engagement, and development of a team of 4
  • Meeting expected customer satisfaction levels (KPIs)
  • Managing and organising the team to maintain high levels of service whilst ensuring they understand their duties, delegated tasks and expected performance levels
  • Handling customer complaints to reach resolutions along with maintaining interests of the business
  • Keeping records update of customers, along with credits owed by liaising with the finance department
  • One to one training along with group training sessions
  • Scheduling tasks to the customer service operatives
  • Dealing with performance related issues
  • Providing reports to senior management

Essential experience;

  • Strong customer service background is essential
  • Proven experience of working in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills
  • Able to communicate with customers and colleagues at all levels
  • Experience of training and coaching
  • Hardworking, reliable and good working attitude
  • Ideally E-commerce business related experience (desirable)
  • Knowledge of the furniture industry (desirable)
