VAN DRIVER

Position; Van Driver

Location; Near, Witney

Salary; £23,000 – £26,000

Our client, a prestigious well established business, is a looking for a Van Driver who can join their team in undertaking specialist projects across the County. You will be required to carry out removals and collections of customer goods, in a polite and careful manner due to the value of items being collected.

Daily hours are generally from 0730 – 1630, Monday to Friday, some flexibility is required depending on location of jobs each day.

The role / responsibilities;

  • Working within a team to ensure all tasks undertaken are completed carefully and in a time efficient manner
  • Comply with all correct lifting techniques when handling customer goods.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping within the van and whilst on customers premises.
  • Participating in training as appropriate.
  • Participating in pre-job risk assessments when required.
  • Completion and submission of relevant paperwork.
  • Uniform will be provided
  • Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment

About you;

  • The ideal candidate would be dynamic, yet conscientious and able to handle items with great care and attention whilst working efficiently and productively.
  • Hold a valid British Driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • The role will be carrying out removal of furniture from customers houses so a degree of physical fitness is required
  • Be able to deal with customers face to face ensuring the highest level of customer service is upheld at all times.

Van Driver / Technician

Position; Van Driver

Location; Near, Didcot

Salary; £22,000 – £24,000

Our client is a looking for a Van Driver who can join their team of Technicians in undertaking specialist projects across the Country. You will be required to carry out cleaning and collections of damaged goods.

The role / responsibilities;

  • Utilising a variety of tools to remove materials whilst working in a safe manner at all times in accordance with risk assessments and operating procedures.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Company policies and procedures including health and safety and employment.
  • Assisting line management in the development of and adherence to procedures in order to ensure safety, health, environmental and quality standards are maintained.
  • Comply with the conditions of site permit to work systems.
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping on site.
  • Reporting faults on plant, equipment and PPE /RPE.
  • Participating in training as appropriate.
  • Participating in pre-job risk assessments when required.
  • Completion and submission of relevant paperwork in an accurate and timely fashion, working in conjunction with Technical operations to ensure compliance.
  • Play an active part in the cleaning and restocking of vehicles after use.
  • Vehicle will be provided for travel
  • Uniform provided

Van driver

Position; VAN DRIVER

Location; Stokenchurch

Salary; £12.00 – £14.00 per hour

Working Monday to Friday, 7am until 3.30pm.

Main responsibilities;

  • Operate MHE (Full training given) competently and safely
  • Carrying out collections and deliveires to customers across the home counties.
  • Assist with Technical deopartment when required
  • Be aware of personal responsibilities towards and health and safely
  • Co-operating with the Line manager and site Safety Representative to promote high standards of safety

Required;

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive and self motivated with a ‘can-do’ attitude
  • Ability to work in busy environments
  • Competent at operating machinery and plant safely
