Job description

The role will be based at a school in Sutton Coldfield, England.

Our client provides a fully managed IT Support service and are heavily involved with ongoing projects and developments for the Trust. The ideal candidate will be expected to provide support to the school and help support the rest of the Trust ICT team as required.

Technical Requirements (not everything below is essential, however the more that can be demonstrated the better)

  • Daily Proactive checks of ICT areas
  • Proactive Maintenance of all hardware across the site (Including IT Suites & Network Cabinets)
  • Re-imaging PC’s
  • 1st/2nd line support for all IT users
  • Application Deployment
  • Desktop Deployment
  • Supporting Microsoft Windows Server and Windows 10/7
  • IT Inductions to new staff members
  • Setting up new staff members and managing passwords
  • Responsible for managing the sites IT helpdesk and ensuring we meet SLA’s
  • Maintain IT documentation such as Assets/Authentication docs/Maintenance schedule
  • Maintain audio visual equipment around the site,
  • Update tickets logged to our Service desk
  • A working knowledge of Windows server administration
  • An understand of technologies – Experience with any of the following operating systems & software packages is advantageous. Windows 10/7, Microsoft Server 2012 R2/2016, Impero, Sophos, Office 365.

The Company;

Main responsibilities;

* Maintain accurate inventory balances with respect to identification, location, and quantity of all production materials within the storage areas. Performance rating based on accuracy levels.
* Responsible for adhering to daily cycle count schedules.
* Prepare and administer the operating system 123Insight, Cycle Count, and Kitting per published procedures and schedules. Maintains department database, prepares routine reports, and files shipping/receiving records.
* Receive and ship all components/production materials within 4 working hours of arrival on receiving stock.
* Deliver items to requisitioning departments and obtain authorised signatures for accepted items.

Required;

Inspection Technician

The Company;

Main responsibilities;

* Production test and inspection of electronic assemblies according to customer specifications and requirements of new and existing products using AOI, flying probe, Teradyne and X-ray equipment and visual inspection.
* Setting up and debugging of new AOI and Flying probe test programs.
* Calibration and general maintenance of equipment used in the Inspection work area.
* Investigation into customer returns on visual.
* Ensure all work is completed to specified standards.
* Follow company procedures and work instructions at all times.

Required;

* At least 3 years’ experience in PCB production in an automated test environment.
* Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent; City & Guilds Electronics would be advantageous
* Use of fine tools and microscopes.
* Knowledge of IPC-610 standard
* At least 1 years’ experience in visual inspection
* Previous knowledge of AOI, FPT, Teradyne X-ray systems and Fabmaster or similar would be advantageous

Van Driver

Our client is looking for an energetic and motivated Van driver to join their team delivering and collecting goods within customer premises ensuring that every fitting project is completed to the highest standards.

The Role;

You will be required to deliver goods across Oxfordshire and surrounding counties to the company’s delivery timescales within customers premises. You will be required to work with customers face to face and over the telephone ensuring the highest standards are met at all times.

  • Taking in deliveries at each of the company storage points
  • Liaise with Logistics Manager, Company owners and fitting teams to ensure each project is completed to the highest standards
  • Ensure all operational activities such as unloading, storing, picking and loading, including heavy lifting of company items are completed in a timely and professional manner.
  • Loading and unloading company equipment on and off the Van
  • Understanding the daily schedule to maximise efficiency and minimise repeat visits to sites
  • Liaising with fit teams to ensure deliveries are made to site in a timely manner
  • Ensure vehicles are in a safe condition, with daily road worthiness checks correctly completed before use, and are operated in a safe manner
  • Proactively take responsibility for keeping vehicles clean and tidy
  • Maintain stock levels of consumable items on van

A standard working day is 7am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday with some flexibility required to ensure jobs are completed.

Applicants should have some knowledge of driving Sprinter sized vans and be able to use hand tools when required to assist with company fitters on certain jobs.

The role is not a multi-drop position.

About you;

Applicants should have a Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 points. Knowledge of driving a sprinter sized van would be advantageous as well as dealing with customers on a face to face basis.

Manual handling of heavy items will be required on a daily basis so a good level of physical fitness is required.

Flexibility towards working hours as well as being able to use hand tools would be advantageous.
