Digger and dumper driver
Planet Recruitment are looking for a skilled Digger / Dumper Driver to join a client of ours on a long term project.
Experienced candidates will only be considered for this project.
Candidates will need to be competent to drive a 3T and 8T digger plus a 6T dumper and also a Bomag 80 roller.
Duties
* Operate excavators and dumpers with precision to move earth, gravel, and other materials around the construction site
* Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained
* Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to complete excavation and material transport tasks efficiently
* Adhere strictly to safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
Skills
* Proven experience operating excavators, dumpers, or similar construction equipment
* Valid commercial driving license with a clean driving record for operating heavy vehicles on-site
* Ability to follow detailed instructions and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
* Good communication skills for clear coordination with supervisors and colleagues
* Safety-conscious mindset with a focus on maintaining a secure work environment
