As the IT Manager, you will be accountable for overseeing the management, installation, maintenance, availability and security of the curriculum and administrative ICT network, including the hardware and software infrastructure of the school’s ICT network. You will also collaborate with the Senior Management team to aid in the development of the school’s IT infrastructure and put in plans for projects. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the schools ICT network is optimised for effective teaching and learning while ensuring its security and stability.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring and maintenance of all key systems including switches, virtual & physical server environments, Microsoft 365 and backups.
  • Providing technical advice, training and support to staff to enable them to make effective use of systems.

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong passion for IT, with at least of 2-3 years of experience working as an IT Manager/Network Manager/Senior ICT Consultant within a school setting.

  • Experience in upgrading a school IT Network system.
  • Self-motivation, with excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, as well as exceptional customer service skills.

About the role;

The control of processes covering raw materials inbound and moulded components throughout the manufacturing facility. Conduct the quality inspection of supplied GRP moulded components and other critical items whilst raising and facilitating corrective actions with the relevant suppliers. Responsibilities;

  • Maintain an acceptable inspection level on required components at goods inwards.
  • Monitor and maintain the goods Inwards QA inspection process to ensure incoming materials meet required drawings and quality standards, whilst ensuring continuity of supply to production.
  • Facilitate supplier development activities via supplier visits and audits to support the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Recording of all Inspection reports and raising Service Calls
  • Reports to enable QA related issues to be clearly identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner.

  • Conduct periodic reviews of shop floor.

Essential experience;

  • Minimum of three years previous experience in similar QA role within a fast-moving production environment.

  • Computer literate in MS Office and Adobe software as well as SAP.
  • Experience with QMS procedures.

ICT Support Service on-site

  • Under the guidance of the Network Manager: Provide specialist ICT support that ensures the school/centre establishes and maintains high quality learning facilities.
