The role;

The primary role of the Technician is to repair devices of the whole product range along with providing technical support function to customers & internal teams. The technician is reporting to the Team Leader Technician, who will ensure all training on company products is given and all procedures are explained.

We require someone with good assembly knowledge who can undertake small repairs on devices.

Main responsibilities;

  • The primary objective of In-house Technician is to perform in-house diagnosis, servicing, repair and testing of customer returned products using established procedures.
  • Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, testing and calibration of repaired products, troubleshoot and providing recommended resolutions, preparing clear quotes and repair reports.
  • Logistic coordination for service devices: custom clearance paperwork
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Required;

  • Strong knowledge of measurement units and electronic parts
  • Ease with computers: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook)
  • Professional and effective communications skills, working as a team member.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • 2 years of experience in device repairs.
  • Assembly knowledge, use of hand tools, small component rework.

Primary Purpose

Our client are seeking to recruit into their successful Technical Architecture team with a Technical Architecture Analyst to support the growing business and sales team.

The Technical Architecture Analyst will support the winder Technical Architecture team to deliver technical consultancy and pre-sales activities, and transfer industry, technical and product knowledge to customers via excellent written documentation.

The successful candidate will assist the Technical Architects and Head of Technical Architecture with the management of client activities, bookings, and meetings. We see the role of Technical Architecture Analyst as a stepping stone into the role of Technical Architect for the right candidate who has a dedication to learning and a commitment to personal development.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing technical support, consultancy and/ or delivery services to end-user customers for some or all products, such as, Microsoft, Back Up and DR, Security, Networking, Storage, Server, Client, and Cloud solutions. With a key focus on well documented solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver chargeable Technical Services to new and existing customers for products, such as Microsoft, Back Up and DR, Security, Networking, Storage, Server, Client and Cloud solutions etc.
  • Management of team bookings, calendars and meetings
  • Documentation creation from the teams’ templates
  • Management and ownership of activity logging and reporting in the CRM system

Primary Purpose

Delivering at least four projects every month, sometimes more for our client base. This typically comprises three days of paid support work, one day for an SOW, and one day a week for training and administrative work.

Key Responsibilities

Any issues, scope creep to be raised with PS manager straight away – Demonstrating Communication, time tracking, Clear and detailed SOW documentation across all projects

Project feedback from stakeholders (internal and external): feedback from customer surveys relayed back to engineer on monthly catch ups. Also feedback from AM catch ups – what can be improved on? – Demonstrate where you have gone above and beyond

Handovers – SOW doc: Scope of works to be completed in the time frame given. If extra discovery is needed it needs to be highlighted at internal handover. End -of-project handovers need to be completed to the Planet internal team or the customer (customer type depending) Only at this point can the project be signed off

  • Previous experience as a Project engineer in an MSP environment

In-depth knowledge of ADDS, green site deployment of ADDS, multisite deployments, excellent grasp of group policies

Experience with Microsoft Windows RDS

Primary Purpose

The Desktop team are tasked with supporting, investigating, and resolving our MSP client’s IT related systems and making sure all issues are dealt with in a timely fashion.
