Tele Sales Representative

The role;

A telemarketing role that will reach out to new and some existing customers/clients over the telephone with the primary aim to introduce our client and set up a sales visit by one of the company’s Sales team. The post holder will deal with some inbound customer/client calls and record all customer information accurately on the company’s CRM/Database systems.

Responsiblities;

Make outgoing customer calls/cold calls in order to set up appointments for the company’s sales team.
Take and manage incoming customer/client calls capturing accurately customer requirements/issues and passing calls to the correct sales or engineering team.
Maintain in-conjunction with the sales team a list of potential customer/client leads and follow up these leads with outbound calls to initiate potential sales.
Contact customers in response to correspondence or feedback.
Accurately & efficiently enter customer information into company databases for profiling, contacting and billing purposes.

Requirements;

Communicating with Persons outside the organisation, representing the company to customers, clients, the public and other external sources.
Establishing & maintaining interpersonal relationships, developing constructive and co-operative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
Ability to clearly communicate in person, in writing or by telephone or e-mail.
Able to interact with computers and other electronic systems to accurately record/enter data or process information.
To support the build of a customer/client calling list and other key customer information, while maintaining all records of contracts, accounts and orders.
Work collaboratively and provide clear & concise information to line management and co-workers.

Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Our client are a highly experienced manufacturer who boast over 50 years experience in the design, manufacture, test, install, commissioning and maintenance of high-voltage sub-station protection and control equipment.

Job Summary:

The Lead Design Engineer is responsible for the technical management of customer orders within a project team. The ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders is essential. In addition, co-ordination of engineering resources to ensure completion of the most economical technical solution in a timely manner is crucial.

Role:

Technical management of projects in line with client expectations, procedures and programmed timescales.
Overall responsibility for all technical matters for each project within the project team.
Communication of technical information to all internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Participating in the tender to project team handover meetings, where appropriate.
Participating in both internal and external meetings, such as project kick-off’s and project reviews.
Project lead from a technical viewpoint, for individual team projects. Including the monitoring and direction of Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers and other engineering resource for those specific contracts.
Conduct site surveys (where appropriate) at Customer sites respecting all relevant Health and Safety rules.
Help in maintaining or improving the project budget by use of “standard” parts and designs to minimise material and labour cost.
Lead the “design review” team meeting on all new projects to identify previous similar projects to work from, identify missing information from the customer and collect technical queries from the team.
- Work within any procedures, guidelines or specifications set by the customer, any relevant electricity supply industry, and / or any relevant International organisation / standards to produce and issue any drawings deemed necessary to allow review by the client and subsequent comment / approval of the required system design.
